Bought brake fluid today and put the .77 change in my pocket. Discovered a nice surprise in there when I got home. 8-)

And no mercury on this one...

Nice! That's a good find.

Wow! In all of my time collecting, I have not gotten a silver quarter in change once.

Bully!
A rare wild silver quarter.
If I have the gift of prophesy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to move mountains but do not have love I am nothing. And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned but do not have love it profits me nothing.

The last silver quarter I received in change was out of a coke machine in Albany, Oregon in 2007...so rare an occurrence that to this day I still remember where and when it happened after 12 years!!!

Isn't that TWO silver quarters in the photo? The one behind the 1953 looks like silver to me as well.
Former stock broker w/ ~20 yrs. at one company. Spoke with 100k+ people and traded a lot (long, short, options, margin, extended hours, etc.).

Please note that ANY stocks I discuss, no matter how compelling, carry risk- sometimes substantial. If not prepared to buy it multiple times in modest amounts without going overboard (assuming nothing really wrong with the company), you need to learn more about the market and managing risk. Also, please research covered calls (options) as well.

I had to tone down the saturation in photo editing because of the incandescent lighting, so yeah - I see how that makes it look like silver. But it wasn't :|
