Liquidating Proof ASEs

Postby texcollex » Fri Jul 12, 2024 10:08 pm

What's a good place/ way to sell proof ASEs? My dad left quite a few, and I'm more into constitutional silver. He left half a dozen of the new reverse proof sets, too. I have several of my own and don't really want that many of those. I sell a lot of stuff on feeBay, but very little in the coin realm. It doesn't seem like there is a very active market here on RC like there used to be. Kind of makes me sad.

Thanks

The RC silver market is and was fueled by selling from coin roll hunters (which has almost ended), a couple of major flippers (who have largely left RC), and a larger number of minor flippers (that has been slow also). Otherwise selling is mostly people who are rebalancing, raising cash for a purchase, or taking profits from a rising market (we saw some selling 6 months ago at the last major price increase, will see more at the next increase). I wouldn't given up on a RC offering, but you might try bullionstacker as a better or duplicate site for that type of product.

Perhaps a longshot, but see if a local coin shop would consider a trade for the type of silver you prefer.
