I bought some old military medals the other day. One of is a paratrooper badge that has "sterling" stamped on the back. Is this medal silver or is it a makers mark?

It's .925. Great find!.
The old silver insigna sell for a good premuim.

I have the European North Africa Middle East Campaign Medal and ribbon, the Liberation of the Philippines medal and ribbon, and a small UN Korean Service medal...will take $25 all of them.
