I was just visiting a friend who is an asst. manager for TD Bank here in CT, and he told me as of a few weeks ago halves and dollars no longer appear as line items on his coin ordering online screen. Can't even get them for himself. And any cwr of halves & dollars that come in can't be sold over the counter or bought by bank employees.
He said a memo went around that stated since dollars and half dollars are unnecessary for commerce, branches would be prohibited from ordering them due to cost. Don't know if that's all TD everywhere or just this area.

All the above?
