Buying back in

Postby panther » Thu May 05, 2011 7:35 pm

Some of you might've seen my prediction thread last week. Anyway, Right now I'm 100Percent frn and I'm thinking about buying depending on what the market does tomorrow. Problem is, I'm on vacation, so only way for me to buy is eBay or apmex or somewhere online,,, so I am debating between 2 or 3 100oz engelhard bars for 2.09 over, or a monster box of eagles or maybe grizzlies/maples. Any thoughts on a good place to find a monster box? Apex wants 5.99$ over! Also would you rather have a few 100 oz bars and some peace/margins and maybe some junk 90% OR. A monster box

Your prediction was right on. Only off by a few days. If you did dump all you silver last week you are looking pretty good. If it drops much more you will be able to buy back in and have almost twice as much silver as you had last week.

Yep I sold 98% ... 90% at 46 the rest at 40

I feel bad for any paper holders/ anyone who bought in late in the game.. I didn't see this at all, I was thinking 39 or 40 and then rightbback up t 50

Curious - how did you sell so much silver in such a short time?

I buy and sell a lot, using whatever profit margin I make to reinvest. I have a large list of PM buyers, mostly from craigslist... I just made a couple calls and put a few ads up on craigslist

I sold every last oz. of silver on 4/22 and converted it all to gold that day at a GSR of 32. I knew silver couldn't keep THAT kind of momentum, but I had no idea the pendulum would swing so far back the other way! Glad I converted when I did. I guess this just goes to show that even though coin shops and online dealers are selling like crazy, the paper chasers are still masters of the POS/G...

Anyone want to weigh in on bars from apex vs a monster box? Anywhere to buy instantly 24/7 besides apmex?

I've sold on bullion direct, but I have never bought. I've had no problems with them. Here are their current listings for silver:

Maples are $5.00 face value vs. ASE $1.00; you never know when that may make a difference.

tulving has the best prices i have found if you can manage his minimums.

for smaller orders look at golden state mint. about a buck over for 1-ounce .999. at today's premiums for ASE's, that's a good deal. You could get 90% from a lot of folks here at spot as well.
