Going price by face?

Hey all. Just wondering what you're currently buying US 90% junk silver at by face value. My dad has a buying opportunity, and wants to make sure he pays a price fair for both parties. Thanks!

Here's what the market maker on Bullion Direct is buying and selling 90% at the current time.

I saw "junk" silver at 25x face from a couple of dealers at a show this weekend. The best priced Morgans & Peace Dollars were $31-$33.

coinflation will calculate the melt price. that woudl be the ceiling.

the floor would be what a dealer would pay.

go to tulving.com, kitco, or southern coins and precious metals and you can see what dealers are paying. those guys typically buy $1000 face bags. prices for smaller quantities usually have a bigger discount.

$25 per $1 face of US 90% seems to be about the best rate going at this time. If I was buying, I'd make sure that I was getting into a bunch of culls or slicks. Half dollars preferred here. 1964 Kennedys are pretty boring, but your best best for full weight silver.
