I have a friend who wants to sell me a gold plated art bar silver $10,000 bill. The proof like bar feels like it ways maybe 4 ozs. The reverse of the bar has 999 fine silver stamped on it. I've never seen gold plated silver bullion before....

look em up on ebay. I try to avoid them because they're so commonly scams, like they're 100mil .999 fine silver they'll say. Too risky I think.

I took the plunge and bought it. Turned out to be 4 oz of silver under 22 plated gold. Sold it at the scrap pm dealer for a profit.
