Where's my time machine when I need it? There's a couple of viewpoints that can be used here. One is that these prices are in the past and we're just stuck with the 2011 levels. Another is that the prices from late 2005 to July 2011 are just part of a rising trend and that current prices will be a real bargain almost 6 years from now. Whichever one you support, it's certainly interesting to look back in time.
