Is this a decent deal

Postby stonewallrabbitry » Mon Oct 03, 2011 6:47 pm

I just started buying some silver this week, someone locally has offered me a package of junk silver coins for 100.00. I have not seen the coins but he says it is:
(2) Morgans 1921 and 1898
(2) Ben Franklin Half's 53 and 63
(2) Standing Liberty 1/2's Both 42
(2) Quarters 61 and 63
(1) Dime 1959

Is that a decent deal?

If that deal was offered here, I would take it quickly.

On eBay a junk lot like that would probably go for $120 or so.

Thanks I told him I would take it. This will be my first silver unless some that I bought from a member here arrives first. I think if he sells at close to spot I will buy a little each week, maybe set 30-50.00 each week to buy silver, this forum has helped me a lot and I thank everyone for their advice
