Neil, I made some additions to my last post. Read them. Sorry but I'm making a fortune in various markets but you carry on with the drunken lie-laden "rank" soliloquies if you must. It does now that I got his last name right. He's an even smaller fish than I thought...or as his neighbors would say, "all hat, no cattle".

Now that I know he isn't one of the big boys coming in here to cause disharmony, I'll leave him alone. He's probably struggling as it is, and simply knowing he's been caught out is enough.

Personally, I've been enjoying this lyrical battle between neil and JFF. It's interesting because neither of them write quite normally. Too bad Romulae left, otherwise he might have something good to add...

I think what everyone is trying to say is that it is tricky to find the particular calibration in timing that would be appropriate to avoid the acceleration in risk premiums created by false deflation without prematurely aborting the incline in the artificial inflation-generated premiums.

Now that you clearly DO NOT know my real identity as confused as you are by the threatening PM message you sent with an NFA link about someone other than me, but you are now toying with criminal activity- something I WILL NOT tolerate, nor participate. BTW- You are not as anonymous as you might think.

Good lesson for folks out there to NOT reveal themselves. When threatened, the perpetrator will have to engineer their way into assuming they know who you are via internet searches etc and will end up not finding what they were looking for, even if they think they have.

Disagreements and spats are one thing, threats are another- Not my cup of tea.

The administrators of this forum have been notified about this nefarious activity. Threats and harassment have harsh criminal retribution.

Cheers!

The other school of thought is to know that the Internet isn't anonymous and just never do anything "here" that you wouldn't do in the real world.

There are at least a couple dozen people here that several people know by REAL NAME.

All of them that I've met are of extremely high quality and I would vouch for any of them and gladly do 5 and 6 figure deals with them on a hand shake.

And I am quite sure not one of them has a thing to worry about outside the inevitable listing on certain "metal hoarder dissident" lists by the government.

NOTE: You "anonymous" people will probably be on those lists as well one day as you aren't very anonymous to the government.

Yes agree- and there are plenty of folks among the "high quality" (You may not know who they are from posts, but personal contact and dealings)who may be trolled and threatened at anytime, for any reason. And to your point about not "doing anything here that you wouldn't do in the real world" I agree but unfortunately, some have and it's simply gone too far.
Threats and harassment are beyond the scope of what's tolerable, and it is the real world when criminal activity ensues.

I'm assuming this is a photo that Chris took as it fits his sense of humor. If that is the case, he was likely limited to the materials he had on hand.

I think a better question is; what is Dr. Rodebaugh doing with a what looks like set of lego stormtroopers in excellent condition?

What was the original topic of this thread again?

Maybe Engineer's threat was going overboard, maybe it wasn't, but I see no reason why it should be criminal (it could be, I don't know- just saying I don't think it should be). If you've been behaving in a way that would embarrass your employer, why shouldn't he tell? If you've let your identity slip, why should he pretend not to know?

By the way, am I also not as anonymous as I think I am? I can think of a way someone could theoretically discover my identity through connections between a couple different sites I've been on, but I doubt anyone ever will.
