Those bars look great, I need to get my hands on some of those.

It sounds like you need to stop posting for a while and get in the melt shop and get busy. Your fans are getting restless.

Just a quick question, how long does it take you to make those?

All the best...Bob.

What would the dimensions be on 1oz silver in a perfect cube shape? Or a perfect sphere? Anyone know the math?

Bob, good question. My guess is it takes about 20min per ingot start to finish on average. I'm slow :)

Thogey would whip them out in 5 minutes. But that is not a knock against you. I prefer my dentists slow, and my landscapers fast.

The density of silver is 10.49 g/cc. So 31.1 g is 2.965 cc. This would be a cube 1.437 cm on each side, or a sphere having a radius of 0.891 cm.

The 4 tests ingots that I have made with the traditional stamp are to be moved as followed:

1-My safety deposit box
2-Dads safety deposit box (I am sure he is happy to be reading this.....He's a daily lurker)
3-In the melt shop for fun
4-Maybe a KSA auction....maybe not

Made up my mind on the Fat Boys. I'm not selling any of them as of now (sorry KSA hopefuls)........something huge is brewing in cooperation with The Copper Cave. I can't release the details as of now as they are still being ironed out, but I can promise that it will be worth the wait.

I'll release more info as the "date" nears hopefully with a pic or two.

I've searched all over "The Cave" for an "alert" button for new releases. No luck

Said cube would be abut the size of the dice in a game of Yahtzee, and the described sphere a bit larger than an average marble.

So in cooperation with The Copper Cave a limited run of Rodebaugh One Ounce Silver “Fat Boys” will be produced with the current regular Rodebaugh ingot stamp. How limited? Looks like it’s going to be 50-60 total run as of now with no less than 15 ingots staying in my possession. Nate will get the remaining 35-45 ingots for exclusive release through his website (The Copper Cave). A release date and time has not been set as of now, so hang tight on that one. The coolest thing about these bars is that they will be individually serial numbered on the reverse like the original series one Rodebaugh ingots, and just like them no more will be made after this first and final run. I’m not sure if the Copper Cave is going to limit bars per order as of now but I think it is a good idea to help everyone have a fair chance to get at least one ingot upon release. So without further ado, I give you... . . . . . . .

More details concerning issue price, order limits, and release date and time to follow.

Thanks for looking guys,
