Synthetic diamonds have been a reality since the 50's...

I was not aware gem quality (but colored) stones had been made...


Any investment in diamonds by me will be short term flips, or nothing...

For my 2 cents, I would also like to see a Precious stone section.

Diamonds, rubies, opals, etc....

Just fyi Carbon vapor deposit diamonds getting mixed into parcels of rough is becoming an issue for diamontaires per Rappaport magazine...

We are there, gem quality diamonds are being made in a lab and sold cheaper than natural diamonds. Frankly I like the idea of them replacing the dug up ones. Too much bad karma in the diamond world, and I think it would be really nice to know that your diamond came from a factory instead of some warlords slave mine...
