uthminsta, you need to educate yourself a lot more about the GSR, etc. before making a potentially costly move. google is your friend.

as for commemoratives, there is no consensus. they are a low premium item which is ideal, but they tend to be less liquid. some people think they represent a good value, others prefer to pay up for more liquidity.

Britannias are great looking coins, no doubt about it. If you really like them, there's no harm in getting one just to have. BUT, the premiums are quite high and the spread is quite wide...automatically disqualifies them for me---if I'm going to pay a higher premium than I need to then I want to be compensated in the form of smaller spreads.
