It's just catching up to where it should be... $200oz.

Silver stops flirting with the line and clears the line well into $54 territory. Famous last words, I spoke too soon, back below $54.

So is this the result of what a lot of y'all have been saying for years? That paper silver was way oversold and now China , India and Pakistan are demanding physical delivery?

Well, someone is demanding physical. In quantities large enough that the LBMAs limited stock of oversold bars isn't enough to answer the requests. Same with Comex. I feel like the waters started to get tested 6 to 9 months ago, but it ramped up into a serious and perhaps ultimate Hunt Bros type of event. Yes, this has been predicted for years, but TPTB were always too cagey to be pinned into a corner. Until, seemingly, now.

Nice price smash down today. At some point this was inevitable. Green candles were getting a bit huge on the weekly and monthly charts.

So on a whim I was looking on ebay just now and I searched for commemorative silver dollars, you know the ones they put out every year that immediately drop in value? Well there's a fair amount for sale on ebay for under spot. It makes me wonder if price of silver is going up so fast that people aren't able to keep up/check proper pricing? Or maybe they just want to dump those US Mint failures. Only thing good about them is they are the same specs as Morgans and Peace dollars.

Either way, if anyone looking to snipe out some sub-spot silver, keep an eagle eye out.

I inherited a mega amount of proof sets, silver commemoratives as well as some that have a $5 gold coin in them. I had seen the mint state quarter sets but didn't realize the mint put out a silver, 5 coin set of quarters. The regular annual mint sets don't appear to have been a very good investment but the silver finally got above water from the original price, not counting inflation.
Got a sack of 135 Eisenhowers but they were all clad. Finally unearthed some '71 and '72 commemoratives in sleeves specifying 40%.
I don't suppose there is a rarity in commemoratives, is there? Like World Cup or Korean War coins?

Silver now running below the $47 line. That's a 15% correction. Not sure that's the end, but getting closer.

It bounced off that number. It is that the last bounce, or are there more steps to go down?
