I wonder if there's any hints how this will break?
The story is: The market place is awaiting the latest meeting of the U.S. Federal Reserve’s Federal Open Market Committee, which begins Tuesday and ends Wednesday.

I guess the good news is that I bought a car with $118 of face when it was near its recent peak; traded for it at $34.59. The car is so fun to drive, I named it "Zippy".
The Mercedes 190D with the 5-cylinder, 2.5 liter turbodiesel engine is fairly overpowered for a small car. Its a bit slow off the line but once the boost kicks in, it's a rocket. They only imported 1400 of this exact type into the USA. 1987 was the only year it was imported. Some people have improved the performance by swapping out the automatic and installing a clutch and a 5-speed. I'll keep the automatic, the swap is too big a project for me.

It costs about $130 to fill my pickup with diesel. The 190D costs only about $50 to fill. I spent a bit too much for the car, but I've reduced my monthly expense.

With all respect, if the best one can say after a serious decline in PM value relative to fiat is "good time to buy" then you have lost the greater opportunity in favor of the lazy realtor comment. Up or down, its always a good time to buy. But, those who have skin in the game can't cheer with such cheeky comments unless they've hedged, which not only makes them immune to negative price volatility but also establishes the simple way to compound the growth of their physical stack.
Cheers!

Yeah, and sometimes you have to blow the dust off the vault, oil the hinges and use the silver to buy something you need to improve your situation. In this instance the "means of production" was producing better mpg for daily driving..

Someone was a few minutes late to work. Silver was doing what it wanted to do instead of what they wanted it to do

The simplest answer is that what you think you see on the chart never happened.

LOL Nice shot!
The only difference is that what they saw on the Kitco chart was a data error spike. Trades never printed according to that erroneous Kitco garbage. Garbage In, Garbage Out- GIGO

Wow, it's... not really up today. I was hoping it would soar in the wake of Obama's victory. This is kind of disappointing...

I think we got through today pretty good considering how the stock market reacted. But this is coming from a guy who is short the DOW and long SLV.
