Sorry to hear mate. Unfortunately, the market does not discriminate. Physical is down just the same.
The good news is that the all time highs are still coming so no worries either way.

Depending on the time horizon and hedging requirements, some may want to lift the hedge for a shorter term bounce, using the hedge gains that protected the assets from a price fall to allocate for more quantity at a lower price- the beauty of hedging!

Others with a bigger term view or more conservative risk policy will simply continue to sit tight and let the hedge carry on.

Cheers!

sometimes you have to slash and burn, but this year i try and finese it a bit...not all of us have senile elderly farmers with massive jars of quarters to predate on....(hahhhahhah....i couldnt resist Cu...i'm just breaking your balls!! hahhhah)

but its a hard market to bid in....thats all i know. i was watching a roll of 41 wash's gem/bu, thinking how to get in, and they trade at 36 times face.....couldn't pull the pin and amp it up to 37, or 38 times.

I am still not sure why "quality rolls" indicate anything.

They would be simultaneously disconnected from bullion and from numismatic.

Why not judge based on the price of ASE's? Which is essentially exactly the same premium as it was 2 years ago?

"quality rolls" is also something that I've only heard you discuss in detail, other than the "Greysheet" of course. And in those cases each roll type has a numismatic premium based on it's particular scarcity.

i'm confuse. what do you mean? i dont understand. ??????

At $1580, gold has entered a near term "sweet zone" for accumulation.

I'll tell you what is making the market go down... GOVERNMENT!

Right after I saw JFF's last post, I switched from DUST back to NUGT and for the last few minutes at least, I am quite happy. Cheers!

I am not a JFF sheep or zombie, but the last couple months I have screwed up a bit and I kept noticing that JFF's little chart reading seems to have the gold trends nailed pretty good so I am giving it a shot for a spell to see what it gets me. Keep posting JFF, thanks!

Silver left a couple gaps this week. Could go up near 30 before falling further.

I guess the question is this:

Does having an ALL CAPS statement in favor of JFF help or hurt his reputation :)

Beau, move your left hand pinky directly to the left and click 1 time. Thanks :)

Or my guess is that you "hunt and peck" so take your finger and click 1 time only ever key on the far left. Thanks :)

Off topic I know.

My first job after the Air Force was a horrible, yet good paying corporate cubicle job.

I was new to e-mail and such. I would always type everything in all caps. Like an Emergency war order message.

All electronic communications in the AF were in all caps. I didn't know I was YELLING. My brain just didn't process it like that and it still does not bother me, It's just written words and my brain did not form staring at a computer during my youth. Thank God!

Beau's writing style does not detract from his posts IMO.

Sorry for the trip off topic.

It's a generational thing I guess.

That's why I didn't try to teach him how to properly use the caps key. Just turn it off. I think most people would prefer all lower case to all upper :)
