You simply need to use the turbo encabulator to analyze your ingots:

Maybe they are plastic. Melted down plastic coins made into ingots.

Yeah addresses and phone #'s of the originating mines/refineries should be no problem too. Hate those shows.

You could get an electrometer and test its resistivity. Run a test on a silver coin and check the resistivity of the coin. May not give you much... or it may tell you a lot. Or... cover it in tooth paste and run it under a shoe buffer. Then... check the reflectivity using a rain gauge and 12 gauge comparator set up at a 45 degree angle. Or pour a bunch of bleach and ammonia on it and see if it catches fire. :o  OK... don't do any of that.

Seriously... take it to a scrapyard. I'm betting they would run a test on it for free and tell you what it is if you offered to sell it to them. You may want to sell it after you find out what it is anyhow.

Looks like the metal they make miniatures out of, pewter or the like. They dont use a lead mix anymore.

I paint stuff and the 'pewter' tones with age much like, but not as dark as silver. Depends on what they coat the mold with also.
