What the critics neglect to say is that squirreling away some money in a hard asset is better than taking a chance with 100% all-in w/ paper assets:

Silver has been a good hedge against inflation if you can buy and sell it without falling in love with it. Nothing, not even corporations' stocks, will guarantee financial success for someone.
