I got a email from Eastern Numismatics offering $10 Gold Eagles for $859. I only own a couple 1/10 oz, so not sure if this is a good price or not. What does the group think?

Here is the link http://www.enispecial.com/

Thanks Lewbo

Here is what one is closing on eBay in 40 minutes. Not TPG.

Another closing in 2hr 34mn is at $881 includes $10 shipping charge.
$86 premium, to me don't sound to bad. With FREE shipping.
Eastern Numismatics, I see belongs to the "Better Business Burue" that says a lot.
Check EN out through them.

Be sure to ask EN about the coins wear/condition, you don't want to be buying a cull!

I got that email and I was wondering the same thing. I bet the guys like Doc Rodebaugh who hang out in the
numi forum alot would have some good input on this.

I really don't like to buy pre-33 gold without having it in my hands first, but it might be a good deal. You'll
probably have a marketer tailing you by phone for a while though.

My opinion:

Don't spend your hard earned dollars on a pig in a poke VF or better coin (that may or may not have issues).

Buy a PCGS certified one for a little extra...

(extra 100 bucks and you get a slabbed MS-62 buy it now with the $20 in eBay cash rebates).....so I'd pick this deal any day all day above the other offer.

$935 minus $18 eBay bucks = $917 (yep $50 extra dollars and you get a gaurenteed nice honest coin)

Now If you don't mind watching the bay for auction listings....some real deals can be had

Where's Jim Cramers "Don't Buy" button when you need it. :)
