I found 1 x 40% half in this box, but my dream was fulfilled shortly afterward......

I had one of those 'dreams' too. Here is my version.

Looks like mine is fading as well. At least is is 'gold plated', although you can not see it in the scan.

Looking at the pic are you sure that it is not Michael Jackson? Looks like his nose is falling off from all the surgeries.

Yeah, I wish it was a dream box of silver finds. I did 8 boxes tonight and besides this gem, all I found was 1 x 40% and 1 x 90% Hopefully the 2 boxes that I have left will make up for it! The look on the tellers faces tomorrow morning at CitiBank is gonna be sweet when I drag in 4 bags!

I'm fairly new to all this so please excuse the lack of experience... I sort 1 box of halves and its exhausting. Ripping off the wrap, then going thru them. Don't get me wrong I love it when I see that glint of silver :D how do you go thru so many boxes? I have 6 boxes waiting for me to go thru. My bank gets me 2 boxes twice a week. They have offered more. I just can't handle them now. What do I need to do to streamline my sort. Young padawan seeking advice.

Get a razor blade and make a cut horizontally across the wrapper and edge check the rolls, the obvious 90% will pop up, sometimes the 40% can have a copperish hue to them. With this method you can easily search 6 boxes in less than 1 1/2 hrs and it wont kill your hands as bad

8 Boxes last night took me about 3 hours or so. I just edge search but I do peek at the date of anything that is questionable/dirty at all so I probably could be faster. I just don't want to miss anything. A quick nick with the razor and I peel off the wrapper, edge search, and throw them in a bag. It goes pretty fast when there is barely any silver to be found like last night. Nothing to sit there and gawk at. The 2 boxes that I have left for tonight will be a breeze. Then I'll have 10 more boxes again on Tuesday!

I found one of those a while back. I was going to post it under a thread "my best finds ever"

I figured I would take a picture of it, and the two civil war tikens that I found.

And what truly shameful act it is to paint this losers face over that of JFK's - If you gotta paint his face on a coin, make it a dime!
