Okay,

Actually I didn't exactly have a terrific war nickel find this weekend. But after practically going bust looking for halves I felt like I had to try another denomination. The boxes of nickels ended up yielding only 1 War Nickel, but it was funny because the only WN was showing on the end of the roll. Just like the sole silver half i had found earlier in the weekend. Fate perhaps?

Anyways here is the roll with the War Nickel http://xxjobiiixx.blogspot.com/2012/02/nickel-coin-roll-hunting.html. I didn't want to take it out so I still have it wrapped in the Fed papers.

Perhaps it'll sell on Ebay with a premium.

Happy Hunting

Hi there-

Oh, I thought this would be about a score-still interesting, though!

I wonder if anyone has ever had silver santa with nickels, like over 25 WN in one box. I think my best ever was 5 or 6, still not bad eats.

Sell it on ebay as a bank roll from 1943!

Sorry to lead you all on. I'm pretty sure it's just 1 WN and the rest are post 1970's. As the rest of the box seemed to meet that description. I've seen silver halfs and wheats on the ends but never a WN or Buffalo. So this was a nice surprise.

You didnt lead anybody on. We are just jokingly telling you to make one of those 'unsearched' rolls listings on ebay that we all know is a scam.
