With the banks being closed today, I thought I was gonna be skunked. Managed to stop a lady at the coinstar, and buy these for 2.00.

Was the machine rejecting those coins and you stepped in and made an offer?

I was watching her, waiting for her to finish. When I saw het pull out some coin tubes I stepped in and asked her if I could look at them. They were all clad quarters, but she had a small bag of foreign coins too. I think she thought the mercs were foreign too. I offered what I had in my pocket. 2.00. She says she has a lot of 1800 dollar coins at home. I offered het 20.00 apiece and gave her my card. Let's hope.
