i don't mean to step on Nate's toes after you guys posted links to his site, but with patience and diligence you can get gram bars on eBay for $2.00 shipped. You'll lose 30 or 40 auctions for every one you win, but it's worth a few clicks. Just look for the sellers that post many gram bar auctions and see if they combine shipping. Then decide the highest price you are willing to pay per gram including shipping. Then always bid the amount (after adjusting for shipping). For example, if you are willing to pay $2.00 per gram and the marginal shipping is $.69, then bid $1.31 for one gram, $5.31 for 3 grams, $11.31 for 6 grams etc.

I didn't say it was the best price, just said it was a good price. My referral stands ;)

Out of curiousity why would anyone wanna by 1 gram of silver? Compared to just buying some junk dimes or even 1oz bars

In my case i'm just using it as one small part of my investment strategy. My current goal with the 1 gram bars is to gather a few ounces of them, hopefully near my target price of $2/g and then wait til gram bars are selling for $5+ and flip them. This may just happen once and then i would buy ASE's or some 90% with the proceeds, or, if the opportunity to get them for less still exists i will continue buying for another round.

Just something to think about. I to purchase 1 gram silver. If silver was to reach a lofty price of $100 per ounce. Than if that is your selling point, would it be easy to sell those 1gram portions as apposed to say a 1 ounce round or bar let alone a 5 or 10 ounce bar. I agree with your investment strategy. My buying point is $2.30 with shipping. With the price of silver it is hard to find such buys.

Watch his pricing. He was down to 1.70 when spot was close to 30.
I dont care for his shipping unless you are buying a qty.

nate occasionaly throws them up for sale in lots of 5 or 10. Also in the KSA sometimes. That will probably be the best bang for your buck. I prefer auctions over living room tables in a room of 15 people (kind of like in san antonio ) for gram bars

Just make sure to keep them in something big. I have a bag of the A&M's that I have no ideal where I put them.
