Aqua Regis? I know it's spelled wrong, but that's what I think they do.

The ebay listing says he isn't using aqua regia. I'd guess he's using some sort of solvent to dissolve the glue that holds the gold to the board.

Keep in mind that you'll need tens's of thousands of cards or dimms and such to get a single ounce of gold.

Aqua regia (English: 'royal water') or aqua regis ('king's water') is a highly corrosive mixture of acids, fuming yellow or red solution, also called nitro-hydrochloric acid.

The mixture is formed by freshly mixing concentrated[1] nitric acid and hydrochloric acid, usually in a volume ratio of 1:3, respectively. It was named so because it can dissolve the so-called royal metals, or noble metals, gold and platinum. However, ruthenium, tantalum, iridium, osmium, titanium, rhodium and a few other metals are capable of withstanding its corrosive properties.[2]
