Need a spec sheet on 1# ASE

Postby mbailey1234 » Mon Mar 05, 2012 8:29 pm

Anyone know where to get a spec sheet on a 12 troy oz (1 troy pound) ASE? I snagged a couple on here and would like to find out some more info on them. Coming up pretty empty on the web so far.

It seems that the obverse and the reverse are both top up or bottom down at the same time. All other coins I know of the front and back are opposite. Wonder why they made these that way???

Medal alignment vs coin alignment.

Just some lingo that might help.

Ok they are medal alignment. Is this common on the larger than one oz coins? The 1 ASE's oz aren't so why make the Troy pound different?

Thanks for the proper terminology thogey.
