The SILVER Story

It wasn't too long ago in 2009-2010 that we wondered how long would we have to endure the incessent ups and downs. It was tedious and frustrating to say the least. SILVER was rangebound between $13-$18. Up and down, would it ever end? It took about a year or so, but SILVER finally broke out above $18. Those who didn't buy during that rangebound period were lost in the dust as SILVER took off to $20, and then to $30, and then to $40, and eventually it topped out at $50. Well, here we are again. Only the rangebound is now exactly TWICE that old rangebound we suffered through in 2009-2010. $26-$37, up and down, will it ever end?

It appears that these rangebound periods are accumulation periods by those of wealth. The timing of the next breakout is somewhat unknown. But, IMHO the accumulators of PMs are preparing for another breakout. My guess is that the plan is in place for a significant PM breakout sometime during the summer, or September. That would be roughly a year within the current rangebound period. SILVER appreciated as high as $50 after it took off from the $18 level. That was a 275% increase. If we could say that the current breakout point would be from $38, an approximate dollar value during another 275% increase, would mean a SILVER spot around $105; and GOLD commensurately higher than $2500.

I like the way you think! I would not be surprised if by this fall the price of metals takes another shot at the moon.
