I got a call from a p/u bank that some Ikes and halfs made their way into the bank. I had to pick up all of it though. I guess I'll be using Ikes for a while to pay for stuff.

Very nice! I just added a bunch of Ikes to my collection! I'm betting those halves probably contain some silver. I've never seen wrapping like that...unless the coins are older.

you could always sell the ikes for a small premium. ;)

I have seen dealers selling them for 1.95

Those halves rolls look yummy. Want to sell them to me unopened for $11 a roll? No fair peeking tho.

There was 380 dollars in total. The newest one was from 1983...
I found the following...
2-walking liberties
6-1964
15-1965 thru 1969
This was a really good score. My contact at the bank said the same older gentleman asked him for bags cause he has more to bring. :-)
I'll post ore pictures of what I bring back.

Wow... that's less than I was expecting! GOOD... but less than I was expecting honestly. Nice score none the less!

If you need some extra help moving those bags he's brining in and some extra cash to pay for them... PM me! I'd be HAPPY to help take some of that off your hands! I'd REALLY hate to see a fellow real center hurt his back moving that kinda load. :)

Hey neighbor! With the high price of LA gas you probably don't want to be driving around picking up some old guy's bag of coins. Just post the branch location and one us other So Cal guys will go and take the coins of the bank's hands.
