'68 Canadian dimes

Postby corky569 » Wed Mar 28, 2012 9:26 pm

I found two '68 Canadian dimes today that I thought were at least 50% silver. They both stick to a magnet, are they 50% steel? Is that normal?

Sorry, if they stick they are not 50% silver.

The ones with silver are are 50% silver / 50% copper. Nothing magnetic there.

If the 68s stick to a magnet they are 100% Nickel like all dimes until 2000
