I search $1000 per week and on avaerage over the last few years I have been finding roughly 5 per box or .05%. However, yesterday I serached a box and found 716 40% ers. A total of $3300. The second box today yeilded about 150 40% ers. Total for the 2 days about $5000. I couldn't belive it! There were roll after roll with nothing but silver. I have never seen a roll with more than 3 silvers in it and I have serached about $225,000 worth of halves over the last 4 years!

thats the holy Grail of Sorting- Any night where you wind with enough to buy a new car with sorting profits is a good one.

But yeah taking a picture of that fed box with every end showing a silver would be worth a thousand words!

I would say in my 5 years of sorting and reading about thousands of finds this is one of the top two box finds I have ever seen. Have seen a few unbelievable CRH (customer rolled) finds but this ranks up there. The best one was I ever saw was on treasurenet, some guy found something like ~840 silver halves in a $500 box. I think majority of his were 40% but still had some 90% in the mix. Awesome score, something most of us can only dream of. Congrats!

I once found a box with 11 rolls of 40%. But nothing compares to this find

Bravo! I know a guy that keeps on pace with an average yield of 5- 40's and 2-90's per box but nothing like these yields. That's one big horseshoe you have up there! Must be difficult sleeping

That's a great find. Unfortunately the banks in my area charge a fee to take coins. Once I move to another area I'll be able to take up coin hunting again. Hope you keep getting lucky!

congrats! I've searched a little over 1M in halves with my best three single box totals being 76, 67, and 64. One of those boxes was loaded with Bens too.
