So - its my birthday, and I decided to head up to Webster Flea Market here in Cent FL and peruse the junk dealers tables. Aside from coins I was looking for a couple old Coke items and some more ammo (you can't have enough).
Didn't find the coke items at the right price - people sure love their junk! lol.
Bought:
4 - 2010 ASE's at $27 ea.
6 - 1964 Kennedy's at $7 ea
10 - Silver Dimes at $1.50 ea
10 - Peace/Morgans at $19.50 ea
(Note - most common price on ASE's was $29.50, most dealers were at 18-19x face for all other silver.)
200 rounds of .40 ammo for my Glock
500 rounds of .22 LR for my Remington
Some roasted peanuts, two 5 gal gas cans ($2 ea) and an orange tree to plant out back.
All in all - a good day.

That sounds like a good birthday to me
"The study of money, above all other fields in economics, is one in which complexity is used to disguise truth or to evade truth, not to reveal it. The process by which banks create money is so simple the mind is repelled. With something so important, a deeper mystery seems only decent." John Kenneth Galbraith 1975

Happy birthday! You got a dollar jump in the price of all your silver for a present! Woo-Hoo!
"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered....The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs."

14x face on those halves?! Wow, someone was out of the loop... and you were in the right place at the right time. Never thought about flea markets, might have to try that
