I was pretty excited about this one. I basically paid about spot for all of this silver BUT, assuming the merc book is filled out with all the correct dates, then I also got a 21, and a 21d!

Well, according to his description he says they are all there except the ones mentioned, so looks like a nice score there!! I'm guessing from the pic you have a G4 and a AG3.....

If they are indeed the correct coins in the correct slots, you did very well. Congrats!

any silver at or near spot is a good score, ebay can be tricky but the description is very clear. what you will get may be a different story, keep us informed!!!

well, I figured I'd update this, I realized that I forgot because the results weren't stellar. Basically it was all as stated except that what was filling the 21d hole was a 24d
. But there is a '21 in AG condition worth maybe $20+ so I still came out ahead a little.

I love the guy's title for his auction: SILVER COINS
How descriptive!

the shelves are a bit bare in the Ebay US silver coin rolls these days.
easily half the listings are these "possible silver" scamsters, and a bunch of other humps offering capped rolls, a vf Merc on one end, and a steel penny on the other.
the rolls that are good ones, mostly now have a high premium 'buy it now" ask, that defies reality, out of 514 rolls offered, there are maybe 20 at most that deserve any kind of look.........and these rolls, i think there was an OBW Franklin solid date with 54 bids and three days out. been seeing a lot of GEM/BU Merc's trading at 90 times....shelves are bare.
