Charlie Munger is like an elderly Roman senator who is stuck in his ways and says that civilized people invest in aqueducts and vineyards instead of gold, right as the Gothic army is approaching the city. and order is breaking down all around him.

Why is Buffet still considered a "guru"?

He has 3 straight years of losing to the AVERAGE DOW.

Sounds like he's past his prime. Big surprise when you are over 80.

This guy is no longer relevant whatsoever and he's running his company POORLY.

Do you know how easy it is to beat the market? EASY. Especially when you having "whole company buying power" like he has.

He's circling the drain and has been for several years.

Excellent! :) Honestly, to them we ARE barbarians. We aren't as controllable or predictable as they would like; and unlike sheep we don't offer ourselves up for a periodic sheering. The very idea of having to use sound money in an unregulated, free market has to be terrifying to them. Without the hussles and the angles they have nothing to offer.

Silver and gold have kicked Berkshire's ass for the last 10 years. During that time gold is up 150%, but Bershire is only up 10%. Take that Charlie Munger and Uncle Warren!

Did you ever notice that Munger and Buffett are starting to look and sound the same?... scary.

Did you also notice that these elitists seems to live a VERY long time?... most live into their late 90's. The devil must give them an extra couple years on earth before he takes their souls.

IMO, we will be much better off when these two are 6ft under.

I suppose the civil folks don't buy gold, they buy silver. :D ;)

I took a good quote from the video though.

"When they are talking, they are lying. When they are quiet, they are stealing."

what a bunch of goons.

not to take the jovial nature of this thread off track,

But how did Buffet circumvent the "hunt bros." rule limiting delivery of silver per investor? Wasn't it like 3 million oz at a time? at 130mil oz that would take him 43 months to take delivery of that much but in the article it mentions he had almost 89mil oz delivered as of the date of the article, and I assume the article was written within a month of the announcement...

Buffett sold off his silver in May 2006

"At the company's shareholder meeting in Omaha, Nebraska on Saturday, Chairman Warren Buffett announced that the company has divested its silver holdings."

Buffett is one of the white shoe boys. There are a different set of rules for all banksters and crony capitalists like Warren. The guy is not a genius by any means. He was in the right place at the right time. From the late 70's forward, he rode the 401k money infusion all the way up. Now he only "invests" when he has a 100% government backstop/guarantee. Hopefully the financial system will collapse before he does. I would to see this man kick the curb before he dies.

the nature of my post was that he had called other people uncivilized while previously having his hand in the same cookie jar.

does not matter if it is still there, just proving that it once was.

i'm guessing they are throwing a fit because they dumped their positions too early.

I don't understand how they can call someone a lesser human being for doing something that they have done.

Mr. Buffet did not earn his wealth honestly or ethically. No body is that successful with out Government assistance.

Agora Financial did a couple of write ups about him about a month ago pointing out some things that get conveniently overlooked. That man really is sleaze.

Now he is paying back his dues by shilling for the Government, Federal Reserve and the IRS. His father must be rolling in his grave...
