Anybody who has a Chase account want a good laugh?

Anybody who has a Chase account want a good laugh? Instead of doing any transaction via ATM go inside and ask the teller while projecting your voice to everybody else and say, "So what's up with Jamie Dimon losing 2 BILLION dollars last week? I had to go out and buy some silver when I heard how bad he screwed up." Trust me, you'll thank me later. All Chase employees turned white and put their heads down in shame, half of them acted like they didn't hear me, my teller practically apologized on behalf of the company to me, and the woman taking care of the drive thru customers did an about face and walked over to my station. She said that she didn't understand why i had to do that because the 2 BILLION in losses came from company money and not customer accounts. I guess when you own stock in a publicly traded company they think that it's their money to risk and not yours.

So if you're anti JP Morgan, why are you doing any business with them?

That's a great question. I just opened up an account last month so I can use it as a drop bank. Right not I've only got a few bucks in it. I opened several bank accounts last months and closed most once I got my system down but Chase was the exception. I figured I would keep that Chase account open for the same reason why I'm still a members of my local Republican party, just for the laughs.

Ah yes, the hallmark of good character is to berate and embarrass the front line employees for the actions of upper level management. Off to the Apple store next to tell the guy working the Genius Bar that their Chinese production facilities have unpleasant working conditions?

I'm not in this fight, but I have to say, brilliant use of the word "hallmark".
Thank you for that.

Well, I didn't scream it and no other customers were there. Not to mention what I did wasn't even planned. I had a voice mail from one of the people at the bank telling me that the fraud department thought that they picked up for charges that were not mine. Since I drive by the bank on the way home I just stopped in instead of calling them back. During the conversation it occurred to me that they seemed pretty concerned about a few charges that didn't add up to much but they never seemed concerned about a 2 Billion dollar mistake, so I decided to have what I thought was a little fun and say something. I didn't expect to get that reaction. I have no regrets.

I guess I'm just twisted but now I want to find a Chase and do the same - it's a shame we don't have any around.

I did the same thing in a BofA when I lived in Cali. It was 2008 and I think BAC stock price was $2 bucks at the time. I told the branch manager that BAC was bankrupt and his face turned white.
Be careful though... the day is coming when someone will be labeled a terrorist for this type of activity. You could be detained for quite a while.

It's not so much a $2 billion (perhaps $3 billion +) mistake as it is a trade where the assumed risk was realised instead of reward. It happens. Yes $2 billion is a lot but not nearly as much as what they'll make on the trades that workout. I'll always be grateful to JP Morgan for his historic efforts in saving the US economy. A hero and a champion of American capitalism.
I can't see the point in "projecting your voice" to taunt or provoke a response by quipping about something you only know tidbits about to a bunch of folks who don't know anything more about it and are just trying to do their job. They are just trying to work and pay the bills, feed the family etc just like anyone else. I hope you don't turn around and ask for coins or expect to use them as a dump bank in return for such uncouth behavior.
Cheers

I can hardly wait to watch the WAR on this thread. So glad to be ignorant and emotionless on this issue.
Let's git it on!
I do have a little opinion though.
These banks should be free to risk and screw up. As long as I don't have to help restore thier loss.

You're grateful to banksters? Banksters who stole money from taxpayers and bailed themselves out for their massive gambling and derivatives losses. I really think you're in the wrong forum.

Hi friend.
I don't know why there is so much deep hatred here for banks.(In my opinion there is too much deep seeded hatred period!) I love banks. That's where I get coin and cash. Same as when it was gold and silver. It is a conduit of currency yesterday, today and tomorrow. I always get great service. Perhaps the regular dropoff of the white chocolate chunk macadamia nut cookies has something to do with that.
You know, before the Federal Reserve which is widely despised of in this forum, there was the panic of 1907. The markets were in a free fall and chaos was all about. Mr JP Morgan stepped in with his own wealth and was willing to pledge large sums of money to shore up the banking system and preserve the savings and investments of the common citizen. He will forever be a hero.
Cheeers!

Okay, I'll bite. I hope you guys have some time on your hands.
Here is a cute cartoon for those with ignorant, child-like brains...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZGiwNJw8E8The entire financial/banking system is a scam. It's started with the inception of a US central bank in the 1800's. In 1913 the Federal Reserve and the IRS were created. That basically put the nail in the coffin for us.
Here is another one. Bill Still does a very excellent with this documentary...

Who are you?... a disinformation agent for JP Morgan? Stop spreading misinformation.
Anyone who is informed knows that bankers (especially JP Morgan) started the whole panic of 1907 in order to get the central bank (The Fed) put in place.

Cu Penny Hoarder,
Why such rage toward Jonflyfish?
Just put him on your "foes" list and you will never even see his comments.

Silly propaganda youtube videos cannot change the facts of US history. JP Morgan stepped up and bailed out the US when nobody else could or would. In doing so he stabilized the markets. He has also bailed out NYC before, the greatest city on earth.
Cheers!

Actually, that does make sense. Standing up against the enemy does make more sense than ignoring the enemy.
Ok, I will grant you that makes sense.
NOTE: I am not agreeing with "Cu Penny Hoarder", I'm agreeing with that reason to spew venom on Jonflyfish if that is your belief, i.e. that he is telling lies, etc.Hm, I don't really have a counter argument for that as it's an opinion
Ok, carry on, but please keep it a tad more civil? Can we do that? Your attacks are getting a little over-the-top with venom.
