Tulving is currently out of:

BU 1 Oz American Eagles - Dates Our Choice
BU South African Krugerrand 1 Oz Gold Coin - Dates Our Choice
40% Silver $1,000 Face Bags (295 Ozs Of Silver)
Opened / Sealed Mint Boxes Of 1 Oz. Silver American Eagles
2012 Australian Lunar Dragon 1/2 Ounce Silver Coin

Some of you probably recall that I always scoff when people say, "you can't get physical any more."

Well, you still can, of course. But Tulving being out of both ASE's and GSE's (the opened boxes) is a first for me. I've never seen that occur in all the hundred's of times I've checked out their site.

So, physical is still very much available, but there are at least signs that it is getting a tad tougher to get! Like tougher meaning, calling up any of the other 20 wholesale sites on the net :) But still, a bit tougher :)

Just think what would happen if a small percentage of the paper holders actually tried to get physical.

There ya go. Buy them ASEs at $26, if you can find them... bonitacar and I shared a monster box from LCS yesterday - it's in hand. Best possible deal? No, but decent enough. I can't hit the bottom perfectly, and don't even try anymore.

Still waiting for 90% and Generic silver to sell out- when these disappear its time to worry

I remember the dark days of $9 silver- not a piece of scrap to found (unless you wanted to pay a $5 prem)

Silver shot and 1000 oz mexcian bars were the only things on Ampex at those prices

apmex's generic supply is shrinking...

was at close to 3000 oz available monday noon - now down to 606 oz

of course im sure theres always some coming in so thats probably not the most reliable indicator :)

about another $2 or $3 spot drop though and im sure some of their 40 top sellers will start being out of stock

I remember this also. LCS was empty also.

You can be certain that wasn't "We do not have any for sale"?

Yep.

This happens every time we have a large price movements to the downside. Wait until the price gets back into the low to mid $30's. There will be no more shortages.

If spot should loiter at this price for an extended period, just wait a little longer. Once enough desperate and disillusioned sellers provide the dealers with newly acquired at the lower price silver, the "shortage" will abate.

If you're willing to pay an exorbitant premium, I bet the dealers could magically find some silver to sell you...

Ah but that is by definition shrinking supply. If price is no object then there is never a supply problem.

Called a LCS I've done a lot of business with in the past his prices reflect $32 silver. He said he has no intention in dropping his price.

I think that's the norm lately. I ran into a guy who has a bunch of engelhard silver he's trying to unload for... get this... $40/oz.

I think he bought in at the top and now that silver tanked, he's trying to get out for what he bought in at. I just told him to pound sand.

I remember 5-6 an oz when people thought I was nutz looking for silver in the wild... and thought I was nutz being a pro for Itronics silver. One day they will be sorry or their children but, mine will not be. I'd rather do this than give it to the golf course well, most of it anyways.
