Strange Kennedy half dollar's

I found a bunch of half dollars this weekend that are a little off? When you drop them on a table they don't ping. They sound like they are hollow. A few of them turned out to be trick half dollars... But a few I can't figure out? I'll post pictures when I get to a real computer. Has anyone seen these before?

Balance the suspect coins on your fingertip and listen for the ringing sound when you tap them. If they do not ring, they may be magician coins too. Dropping them on a hard surface may separate them.

Drop them on hard floor. Recently had one kept rejecting from counter at bank. Turned out to be hollowed out with 20 Mexican centavos insert. Bank confiscated it.
