MNS Coin Show 2012 (St. Louis, MO)
Posted: Sat Jul 28, 2012 10:27 pmI scored there. it was a 3 day show. Thu. July 26, Fri. July 27, Sat. July 28. I went on Thursday & Friday.
I was a buyer, not a dealer. It was free to park, free admission.
I took a box of tokens & misc. stuff to trade or sell.
I went with $50.00 in cash, and my box of tokens...I ended up leaving the show (after the two days I attended) with:
$170.00 in cash
8- one troy ounce .999 fine silver hand poured bars from Prospectors Gold & Gems.....(check out the prices of the on eBay).....these are very famous bars, I got them for $3.00 over spot each (about $30.00)
6- 1/20th oz. .999 fine silver little eagle liberty rounds
12- APMEX 1/10 oz. .999 fine silver mercury dime rounds
1- APMEX 1/10 oz. .999 fine silver $5.00 indian round
4- APMEX 1/4 oz. .999 fine silver standing liberty quarter round
1- vintage one onza plata pura .999 Banco Minero Del Peru fine silver 1 oz. bar
6- 1/4 oz. .999 Copper Liberty rounds from Golden State Mint.
and I still have half of the tokens I took & crap that I took..............................
I got all of the above, and I filled up my truck with a full tank of gas and ate lunch with my wife, and still brought all the above home, and the $170.00 in cash, I met some really cool folks as well.

2- Miniature Oil Painted portraits in frames c. 1860 (these were offered at the most recent KSA auction by me)
1- fine quality sterling Zuni inlaid bolo tie
1- average quality sterling Native. Amer. bolo tie A
1- average quality sterling Native. Amer. bolo tie B
1- Old Pawn Navajo Squash Blossom pendant charm (one blossom)
1- antique gold filled elks lodge elk tooth
1- gold filled spike watch fob trap c. 1860 (if someone tried to snatch your watch, they would get a handful of spikes)
1- Fishing & Agriculture 1855 One Cent (either British or Canadian) I cant remember, but AU condition
1- Ships, Colonies & Commerce token c.1860 (either British or Canadian)
1- Civil War token of a coin minting facility in N.Y. B&K (pictured a coin press)
1- authentic silver Chinese 3.6 Candareens coin
1- authentic silver Chinese 7.2 Candareens coin w. chop marks
1- Royal Arch Mason Token from 1890-1910 (sterling silver)
1- Royal Arch Mason Token from 1846 One Penny (Copper)
that is it, I still had a crap load left over I got to bring home, along with some cash and some silver. I could not go today Saturday, because I had made a prior committment to set up at a flea market and had pain in advance. It is okay because I sold $300.00 worth of crap stuff, (not coins, not gold, not silver, not guns) today, and I bought 2.5 ozt. of scrap sterling for $45.00, 2 dwt's of 10K gold for $30.00, 0.5 dwt's of 14k gold for $15.00, and the best part
I traded 3 Japanese wood block prints for a 1973 Marlin Model 120 Magnum 12 gauge pump, with Walnut engraved stock, and brand new condition. These shotguns were only made in this fancy style for 1 year, it is valued at about $400.00, and my pictures, the three of them were valued about $300.00, but the guy was real happy and so was I.
