Mars Rover

I know where the gold is on Mars. Its in the river beds, in the bends, just like on Earth.

Instead of a science-bot rover, NASA should have put up a prospecting rover and mobile refinery.

No need to return the gold bullion to Earth, its just fine on Mars, under a tarp. Who's gonna steal it? Mars is a perfectly secure vault.

And according to most they would have a more legitimate claim of having bullion equal to claimed bullion. :)

Ah yes, I can see the headlines now; Fort Knox has closed and all the gold has been moved to Mars for safe keeping! :o

Well, the Viking probes had as one of their more interesting possible landing sites what looked like the confluence of four ancient riverbeds... the area was named Chryse. Greek for "gold".
