As of 9/3/12 at 10:41pm according to coinflation 40% silver halves are $5.75 The guy on the listing below is selling them for $4.50 plus $5 shipping. I don't have the $90 to invest for my personal collection. The margin there is pretty tight. 40%ers usually go for under spot.

All sold already, doesn't seem so great to pay $4.50 each plus shipping when you would have a hard time selling them at that price (if you had to pay the eBay/PayPal fees).

Well I wish I knew that. I bought 40% at spot :0). My signature...all the kids backed out for different reasons.
