Canadian proof sets...

Postby DebtFreeMe » Thu Sep 13, 2012 9:20 pm

I have several Canadian proof sets from 1964, which are in their original seals and envelopes. Do these carry any premium over their spot value?

Thanks... DFM

I buy and sell them weekly. Ebay you'll get 40-45.00 on a good day if they have envelopes and COA card.
Most of what you'll find are what they call proof-like sets. The "proof set" were in a lucite frame but usually the coins are a lot more toned and don't look as good as they do in the proof like sets which are cello wrapped.

If you want to sell them drop me a PM. I have cash and all sorts of OBW/bu penny rolls for trade, etc.
