This is a good read. A little too long for AADDs like me  , but a good read none the less.

What year was this essay written? He talks about $5 silver going to $30-50 POS. That has already happened and we are on the back side of it. If it was written in, say, 2002... we are already half way (or more) into the silver bull market cycle he wrote about.

He kind of confused me when he wrote about the "shorts". Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't he say there was a 3 billion ozt short? Then a little later, he wrote that a 3 billion short was not possible??

A contrarian economist I like to read when I have the time wrote an essay saying Ted Butler was dead wrong. There are no shorts in futures trading. It only looks that way. Silver futures trading is a zero sum game done on basis trading. Doesn't Jonflyfish say the same thing?

Thanks Copper Catcher. I enjoyed it.

Who is really short and does it matter? It's hard to know what is the truth is anymore when it comes to the silver market. Regardless, the best strategy, I've heard is to ignore everyone and keep stacking!

When was this written? He never says, but from cues in the article, it seems he wrote it before silver had even passed $10 or so. So was it like around 05-06?

hmmm. I wonder what he would have to say now. How much bull does he think is left?
