Apmex silver eagle monster boxes availability

I have been watching the inventory levels of monster boxes of 2012 silver eagles on apmex.com. On the cheapest 2012 silver eagle monster boxes they used to have over 300 or so monster boxes available at all times, now its under 25 or so. This doesnt seem normal to me, does this indicate the silver market is becoming tight? What are your thoughts?

The numbers ebb and flow. It indicates very little.

Were the numbers to hit zero and stay there, it would indicate something. Other than that, it's not relevant.

Yup

The last time you seen Ampex cleaned out of EVERYTHING was when silver was under $10oz in 2008. They were even out of silver shot- clearly the market was imbalanced.

I think silver shot came back, then war nickels, then 1000 oz bars that were Penzoles? or some mexican firm flowed in after this major supply interuption. 1000 bars were $1 over, 1 oz bars were $4-5 over

IMO, the only thing this is is a sneaky sales tactic by Apmex. They play with their inventory levels to make people believe things are on the verge of selling out so they'll be inclined to order. Gainesville does it too.
