RCM "O Canada" Series

Postby Hawkeye » Tue Nov 06, 2012 6:01 pm

I just got an email from the RCM about a series starting next year. It will be twelve 1/2 oz .9999 silver coins featuring different Canadian themes. It's available through a "subscription" at a guaranteed price of 39.95 each. I know that's ridiculously high, but I love collecting series like this and it's only 4 times a year. Anyway, I just wondered what people thought about the guaranteed rate of 39.95. I know that silver would have to get above $80 an oz, but if it happened, would they still have to honor the rate? I didn't see anything anywhere about it being tied to spot, but I wouldn't want to start a series like that and then get burned at the end.
