Guy says he is selling for $20 a ounce. Anybody close by I would do a partnerhsip if he is really selling 50 ounces for $20 per ounce.

Selling some 1 oz bars and rounds out of my silver collection. I have about 50 ozs that I am willing to part with for $20/oz. I will sell as little or as much as you would like to buy. Some of these are in plastic airtite cases. All are in excellent condition. Silver value is on the rise, and is getting very scarce at this price! These will go quickly! I would only buy if I could meet in person in a public place and make sure they weren't fake or "100 mills" - this is assuming you're in close driving distance. And in that event I would offer at least $25 so that I could sleep at night afterwards.

Yeah, if you could meet him in public and in daylight, see what his reaction is when you whip out an electronic scale or tester. Or you could buy just one of your choosing and scratch it pretty deep to see if it's just plating. At most you're out 20 bucks.

As others have said, if you could meet them in person you'd be ok.

I was talking to a local pawn shop the other day, and they offer right about $15 per ounce for silver and they buy a immense amount.
