Hurray! :D This crazy market never fails to surprise me. I am glad I got most of mine for under 20 an ounce. I might have to sell a couple things. I figured we'd have a huge correction by now the wise silver bulls have proven correct. What say you oh wise seers, where to next :?:

This is very exciting and scary at the same time. Exciting 'cause my long term investment is finally paying off! :D Scary because the reason I made such an investment may be coming true.

Looks like around $29.75 now; maybe a little profit taking at $30?

I'm amazed that is has reached $30.00 per ounce. I got most of mine while it was still in the teens, so I'm a bit lucky. But that hasn't stopped me from buying, as I did get those ASE's recently at 23 and 27, per that cool offer advertised here (along with some local buying, plus ASE proofs and Jekyll/Peace offer). I'm now really debating whether or not, going forward, I want to take a large percentage (ie 40-60%) of any leftover takehome pay (after paying bills of course) and continue to sink it into silver (or other PMs), as I think that the economic situation is only going to get worse before it gets better. Perhaps I should leave less FRNs in the bank.

In other words: Even though PM's (and especially silver) are volatile and that the $30.00 price is high and it won't let me get/obtain many ounces, I am thinking that PMs may still be a better store of value, regardless of price. In theory, the FRN could crash or lose substantial value in a very short period of time.

$20.25 x 2 = $40.50 + $4.95 shipping = $45.45 – $0.82 eBay bucks = $44.63 / $2.50 silver face = $17.85 face ;)

Sorry to rehijack the thread back to the original topic, but I am amazed how the "crazy silver prophets" predicting $30 by Christmas were right!

$30.20 right now and still plugging higher! Cheers!

I'm too busy screwing ov..... I mean giving people their money's worth on Craigslist :) JK I do most of my buying these days from individuals and most of the time its very easy to beat the competition's prices, dang crooks I tell you. I try my hardest to stay away from FeeBay. Those proof rolls sure do look pretty though.

No....by all means thats what the thread was started for. :)

Yes, it is nuts we are setting at $30 and change and still climbing. I would love to see a 6-7 week sideways trade before it runs on up to $35.

I guess thats the next question. Where do we go from here? I speculate higher to $35.00. If those paper shorts start turning too sour it could happen pretty fast.

Rodebaugh you are a genious with the proof sets. It really put me to ease buying silver at 20 face (since It was shiny proof silver)
