Also, their photos were just blurry enough that you couldn't make out too much of the imprinted text.

If you look at his feedback you can see he is a scammer. Don't people look at feedback before they bid?

It kinda makes you wonder if the buyer is also a scammer. Maybe the buyer is stacking scams, instead of PMs.
