Is there a market for these coins or are they just a novelty? I know the 40% Kennedy's aren't overly popular.

I'm actually not looking to sell. I have an opportunity to pick some up and I was seeking some input to see if it would be worthwhile or if I should just stick to 90% silver.

I've seen plenty sell around here. Or you could sell to a dealer, Tonight AMPEX is paying $8,083 for $1000 face which works out to $4.04 each (95.28% of spot

Opps, misread the topic. Had 40% halves on my mind.

They are currently selling for OVER spot on ebay oftentimes. The market dictates the price; buy below spot. If you can get them for eight dollars or so, go for it.
