I made it to the city today, and found a couple .999 rounds I picked up at 31.50. Im wondering what I have here, because it looks like it might be a numi buy as well. I will get some pics up soon if no one can find info. I ran a search and couldnt findmuch.

The first round is from the Royal Hawaiin Mint. Which I DID find info from. They have a site. http://royalhawaiianmint.com/ I couldnt however find out what if any premium exists. Its a very nice round and the card with it is numbered 1933 so I assume it has limited mintage. It was minted in 1991. On the front it says "princess victoria kaiula heir apparent 1891", it also says hawaii across the bottom with a picture of vicotoria and 1991. On the back it says royal hawaiian silver across the top. There is a sheild of arms under that and a dolphin under the shield. Under the dolphin it says 1 oz .999 silver. Then again has the year very small and RHM, with princess dala across the bottom of the coin.

The way some of these smaller mints seem to pull premiums I figured it was worth looking into instead of just stacking it with the .999.

I also bought three other rounds. These three are from the balloon fiesta in albuquerque. three different years. They are pecifically about odd shaped ballons calling it the "special shape rodeo". I have one from 1997 who both the card with it and the stamp on the side of it indicate is number 934. According tot he card this is out of 1500. these were apparently produced by Albuquerque coins inc. The artist was Lynda Crispino. Very nicely made round. with pictures of the odd shaped balloons, this one has a dragon balloon on one side and a sun, pig and bear on the other. Oh last but not least they use gold layering as well. Done very well, with parts staying silver and parts gold.

I also have 1993 which is 1901 of 2500. this one has "sullymen the magnificent" on one side in balloon form of course and a penguin macaw and pig on the other. Again a very well made round. Also has a bit of gold on it to highlight and bring out the features.

The last one is 1998and 184 of 2500. It has an old lady and the shoe balloon on one side and a joker face, pig (whoever did these really liked pigs I guess) and cactus on the other.

anyone know if I just have christmas level .999 here or is there any numi value here? Kinda seems likely to me, atleast with the right buyer.

thought Id give a report of the rest of what I found as well....

They also had some very worn morgans and peace dollars at 26.50 and lots of 90% at 23.5 times face. I found a few decent peace dollars. The morgans were to worn for me to care about. The 90% ranged from some dateless stuff and a few bent coins to some bright white dimes and quarters peppered in and maybe 50 face of kennedys 20 or so of which was bright white stuff. Maybe 130-140 face total.

The other places I checked out had lots of silver to. 90% at 30X face and a range of .999 (very wide selection actually) cheapest I saw was 47 for regular ASEs and it went up from there including other items easily sourced for much much less. Strangely these two places were only a few hundred feet from eachother, the first being jewelry and coin, the second being only coins. Several buyers and sellers at the coins only place.

I will get some pictures up of the rounds if no one knows anything about them. Pretty sure my current camera is capable of good coin pictures if I can figure out how to use it right.

Royal Hawaiian Mint coins have large premiums, you did well there. The NORFED guy was the mint master there till he did the Liberty dollar thing. I am not sure the premium but you will make a great profit if you e-bayed it. I have a couple of their rounds. I won't let them go cheap.
