You could have too many Ebay stars! People see you bid and know its a good deal! We have only 49! So under the radar we may fly!

$45 a year. But you can place your bid up to a week in advance and forget about it.

Gixen is free and I have been very happy with it over the past couple of years. I subscribe to the paid version for $6 per year. I think this is a 'must have' if you use Ebay at all to buy anything. I an not in anyway affiliated with Gixen other than a user........

Makes me wonder what will happen when there is a serious silver shortage like there was for pmags. I can just see the thread posts now. "There is no way I will spend $15 above spot on a ASE's!" I can see that day coming in less than two years.

I used to be able to overbid melt for BU rolls by twenty percent (if you really want a desirable item, you can't bargain hunt) and win every time. Now I can't win at forty percent above. Getting outbid by new bidders (6) and (14), fresh blood that is late into the game and wants theirs at any cost, before it all disappears. It will get worse. These are the times that bring forth crazy bids like you see every once in awhile... when a noobie comes along and places a kill bid maybe $100 above what it should sell for... so that they'll win the item whatever the cost... not realizing that more than one person has employed the same tactic.

thats what i was just thinking. coz i use "neilsnipe", which is i search newly listed...like lets say those Merc's, all of which i was watching....i guess "neilsnipe" is a version of the "kill bid", which i only employ when i REALLY want something bad....i'm sure you saw where that 1944 roll of BU Merc's traded...$200..."live-n-learn", they're good folks. first time though i ever seen them break up Washington rolls....never seen them do that before.......Merc's and Walkings, 40's era, if they're in BU...solid date...the bidding is so crazy these days like you say...if you want it?...you gotta put the kill bid in, and THEN even if you do, you could still get blown away.

People want silver, and numi's even more, and its not just noobs amping the bid, i seen guys with THOUSANDS of stars bidding like madmen........couple weeks ago, as i wrote, saw a roll of 56 Franklin proofs, type unk? trade for 653 ,a roll of 58 Franklin proofs trade for 531........

saturday i got lucky..(maybe) i saw a roll of 44 Washingtons, AU/BU's with 3 hours out at 137, so i slunk in and bid 242, got them for 226.....i was just goofing around, i thought for sure somebody would tag me, but....nobody likes Washington's anyway.
