yes indeed, step right up, and be the first kid on your block to own a PCGS certeefied PR68 1955 Roosevelt dime with the "ODD SWIRL RINGS ON OBVERSE Mint Error" for the buy it now price of 98,765 dollars and EXACTLY 43 cents....of course you have the "make an offer" option.

crew, i kid you not

http://www.ebay.com/itm/PCGS-PR68-1955-Proof-Roosevelt-Silver-Dime-ODD-SWIRL-RINGS-OBVERSE-Mint-Error-/370775940644?_trksid=p2047675.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D163%26meid%3D6147098113627578504%26pid%3D100005%26prg%3D1088%26rk%3D2%26sd%3D310619345616%26

i'm tempted to do one of two things, first is, write the fella a PM, and ask him, if he's prescribed any kind of medicine...that makes you sweetly goofy, and whats it name, mebbe i can get hold of some of it......i wont do that, thats just mean...or i could flip in a 7 dollar and 43 cent offer, see what happens.

98,765 dollars?!? is it just me, or doesnt that seem a wee bit off the market?

we live in some goofy days, dont we?

I think they do that merely as a means of "going to the head of the class" and drawing interest in their other listings.

what's funny is that metal would never have those types of "rings." But the plastic holder very well could, if left in a hot environment or subjected to quick heat, then quick cold

Getting that coin for $5 might not be that bad. A few google searches makes it seem like that coin in that grade will fetch $30-50...which also makes me pretty sure the bid won't be accepted though hehe

Ray, you're right about the "draw"......i been checking this dude's stuff out, and most of it is slabbed hi value NON PM numis.......like i'm really going to pay THAT kinda money for Lincoln penny?!?.......but check this out.....its a 42-D Walking MS66, with what might be the "D" as an overstamp.....and asking 349.99 (last quote 375).....but here's the deal, check this coin out, look at the date, and ask yourself, what did this guy do, dip the frigging slab in soy sauce?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1942-D-PCGS-MS66-OMM-Error-OLD-HOLDER-Silver-Walking-Liberty-Half-Dollar-325-/400430524244?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item5d3b84e754

i mean Holy Moley, what is wrong with people?!...you get a slabbed hi numi value 90%'er, and use it as a frigging coaster for your drink?....i also noticed that for all those hi-value GEM BU solid date Walking Lib rolls flying outta Ebay, between 45 and 75 times face, doesnt look like people been slabbing and trading Walkers....but the Franklins.......MS65's and higher?...oh man, that market is smoking.

anybody get that 98k dime yet...oh wait, didnt he come down to 76k?...what a guy!
