what's funny is that metal would never have those types of "rings." But the plastic holder very well could, if left in a hot environment or subjected to quick heat, then quick cold

Getting that coin for $5 might not be that bad. A few google searches makes it seem like that coin in that grade will fetch $30-50...which also makes me pretty sure the bid won't be accepted though hehe
