Plumbing the Depths of Depravity

I'm trying to put myself into the mindset of the banksters without fathers who run the proprietary metals trading desks at JPMorgan and HSBC, and others of similar ilk. What will they do next?

Hmmm, if I were one of those evil deviates... I think I would consider the nice little runup silver and gold made on Friday as having been enough to instill hope and courage into the masses of the beleaguered silver sheeple. Those who mistrust fiat know enough to flock to precious metals, but some hesitate without the guidance of a shepherd. Should they wait for a further bottom before buying the dip? Or should they just dollar cost average, not trying to time the market?

I'm thinking that by this time they are easily dispirited, and can easily enough be made to stampede in panic by the barking of a large enough junkyard dog (TPTB).

So right about now, I'm thinking, they are pleased with themselves for having the fortitude to weather the worst of the silver suppression storm, and now that the clouds are parting they think the sun will shine. Are they convinced that this wasn't just a dead cat bounce and that silver has reversed its recent downward trending bias? I noticed a spate of pundits calling a bottom on Friday. Why take a chance? Let's just push them all over the cliff until they scream capitulation.

"I will pound the metals markets this week! Why? Because I can   I am invulnerable, no one can touch me. Not the federal courts which dismissed the manipulation charges against my employer JPMorgan, nor the hapless CFTC with their meaningless investigations (we bought them all off years ago)... and finally... because I represent the wishes of the gov't, funded by the endless money printing of the FED. There is nothing you can do to stop us, and we will drive the price down triggering all the stops... and while you aren't watching we will scoop up all the physical you suckers sold at LOWS and we'll fill most of our short positions.

And if you're stupid enough to bid the prices up again? We will do it over, and over, and over, and over, and over again

We'll see who the strong hands are... you weakling silver sheeple"

So... will the markets open up or down? Was Friday the beginning of a spirited movement upwards? Or will the batstirs unleash HELL again?

Depraved minds or not, I'm still going to BUY! Every ounce of physical we get, the more it hurts them!

Right now, probably plenty. I've bet my life's savings on it. But going forward... at some point in time (five years or so?) there will be more fake circulating out there than real 90% junk silver.

What does this mean? Did you go short or something? Risky bet with your life savings.

My life savings - that part which I can control - is also in PM. 98% of everything I have that is not in something else tangible like real estate. I believe that's what Ray means as well.

I would NEVER short silver. The most I would do if I suspected a downward bias would be to build cash for a later purchase. One of the reasons I've almost entirely eliminated selling is that I can foresee a hundred dollar pop coming, may or may not be related to Cyprus and its aftereffects.

And, Rich is correct. I don't collect green monopoly money in banks, I save real money... congregated in locales that shall remain unknown. Bottoms of lakes, etc.

Good idea. That is precisely what I'm aiming to do! ;)
